2026 Somatica Promotional Scholarship Official Rules
Last edited on August 23, 2026
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. A PURCHASE OR PAYMENT WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF BEING SELECTED.
The 2026 Somatica Promotional Scholarship (“Scholarship” or “Contest”) is a skills-based competition. The recipient will be selected according to the judging criteria described in these Official Rules and not by random drawing, social media engagement, follower count, or chance.
By entering, each applicant (“Applicant” or “Entrant”) agrees to be bound by these Official Rules and by the decisions of the Sponsor and judging panel, which are final and binding to the extent permitted by law.
1. Sponsor
The Sponsor of the Scholarship is:
Somatica, LLC
[email protected]
(“Sponsor” or “Somatica Institute”)
2. Scholarship Period
The Scholarship application period begins at 12:00:00 a.m. Pacific Time on August 25, 2026 and ends at 11:59:59 p.m. Pacific Time on September 15, 2026 (“Scholarship Period”).
Sponsor’s computer or designated submission system will serve as the official timekeeping device for the Scholarship.
Applications received after the deadline will not be considered.
3. Eligibility
The Scholarship is open only to individuals who:
- Are at least 18 years of age at the time of entry;
- Are legally able to participate in the Somatica Institute Certification Pathway;
- Are available and able to participate in the applicable Certification Pathway cohort or training schedule identified by Sponsor;
- Have access to Instagram and/or TikTok and are able to maintain a publicly viewable application post during the review period;

- Otherwise meet the eligibility requirements contained in these Official Rules.
Employees, officers, directors, contractors, and agents of Sponsor, as well as members of their immediate families or households, are not eligible to enter.
Current Somatica students, graduates, faculty members, affiliates, or prior training participants are NOT ELIGIBLE.
The Scholarship is void where prohibited or restricted by law.
Sponsor reserves the right to verify an Applicant’s eligibility before awarding the Scholarship.
4. How to Apply
To submit a complete Scholarship application, an eligible Applicant must complete both steps below during the Scholarship Period.
Step One: Create and Publish a Social Media Application
Applicant must create and publicly post an original video approximately 60 to 90 seconds in length on Instagram Reels or TikTok responding to the following prompt:
Why do you want to become a Somatica Coach, and what do you hope to do with this training?
Applicants may also choose to discuss topics including:
- What brought them to this work;
- Who they hope to support;
- What they believe is missing from current conversations or support around intimacy, relationships, or sexuality;
- What becoming a Certified Somatica Coach could make possible for them; or
- How they hope to use their Somatica training.
Applicants are not required or encouraged to disclose trauma, financial hardship, sexual history, medical information, relationship history, or other sensitive personal information.
The social media post must:
- Be created by the Applicant;
- Tag or mention @somatica_institute on Instagram or @celesteanddanielle on TikTok
- Include #SomaticaScholarship;
- Clearly identify the content as a Scholarship Contest entry by including #SomaticaScholarship and/or the words “Somatica Scholarship Contest Entry” in a clear and conspicuous location;
- Comply with the applicable platform’s terms, policies, and community guidelines;
- Remain publicly accessible through September 25, 2026, and
- Otherwise comply with these Official Rules.
Step Two: Submit the Official Application Form
Applicant must visit https://www.somaticainstitute.com/promotional-scholarship and submit the official Scholarship application form before the end of the Scholarship Period.
The application form will request information including:
- Applicant’s name;
- Email address;
- Contact information;
- Location;
- Social media handle(s);
- Direct link to the Applicant’s Scholarship video;
- Professional or educational background;
- Availability for training; and
- Required acknowledgments and permissions.
A social media post without a completed application form will not constitute a valid entry.
Likewise, submitting an application form without a valid, publicly accessible social media application post will not constitute a complete entry.
Unless otherwise stated by Sponsor, one entry per person is permitted.
5. No Purchase Necessary
No purchase, payment, enrollment, or prior relationship with Somatica Institute is necessary to apply.
Making a purchase or enrolling in any Somatica Institute program will not improve an Applicant’s likelihood of receiving the Scholarship.
6. Application Content Requirements
Applications must reflect the Applicant’s genuine views, experience, goals, and intentions.
An Application may not, in Sponsor’s reasonable judgment:
- Contain false, misleading, or materially inaccurate information;
- Infringe any copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, or other third-party right;
- Contain content created primarily by another person and represented as the Applicant’s own work;
- Contain defamatory, threatening, harassing, discriminatory, hateful, or unlawful material;
- Promote violence or illegal activity;
- Contain sexually explicit imagery that violates applicable platform rules;
- Reveal confidential information belonging to another person;
- Identify or disclose sensitive information about another individual without appropriate permission;
- Include another identifiable person without any permission legally required for that person to appear in the submission;
- Violate Instagram, TikTok, or other applicable platform rules; or
- Otherwise conflict with the purpose, values, safety expectations, or professional standards of the Scholarship or Somatica Institute.
Sponsor may disqualify an Application that does not satisfy these requirements.
7. Judging and Selection
This Scholarship is a judged competition and not a random sweepstakes.
Eligible Applications will be reviewed by a panel designated by Somatica Institute.
Applications are expected to be evaluated according to the following criteria:
Clarity of Purpose: 40%
The Applicant clearly communicates why they want to become a Somatica Coach and why this work matters to them.
Potential Impact: 30%
The Applicant communicates a thoughtful vision for how they hope to use the training, including the people, communities, or areas of work they hope to support.
Alignment: 20%
The Applicant’s stated goals, values, and approach demonstrate meaningful alignment with Somatica Institute’s approach to intimacy, relationship, and sexuality coaching.
Readiness: 10%
The Applicant demonstrates the readiness, commitment, and ability necessary to participate meaningfully in the Certification Pathway.
Social media follower count, views, likes, comments, shares, and other popularity or engagement metrics will not be included in the judging criteria.
The Applicant receiving the highest overall assessment according to the judging process will be eligible to receive the Scholarship, subject to verification.
In the event of a tie, the Applicant receiving the higher score for Clarity of Purpose will be ranked higher. If a tie remains, Potential Impact will serve as the second tie-breaker.
Sponsor reserves the right to use additional qualified judges or advisors as part of the review process.
8. Finalist Interviews
Sponsor may select a group of finalists following the initial application review.
Finalists may be required to participate in a brief interview or conversation with representatives of Somatica Institute before the final Scholarship recipient is selected.
The interview may be used to:
- Confirm Applicant eligibility;
- Better understand the Applicant’s goals;
- Evaluate readiness for the program;
- Answer questions concerning participation in the training; and
- Verify information provided in the Application.
Failure to respond to a finalist invitation within five (5) business days may result in disqualification and selection of another finalist.
9. Scholarship Prize
One selected recipient will receive:

The Scholarship applies to tuition only, unless expressly stated otherwise.

Applicants retain ownership of the original content they create for their Scholarship Application, subject to the rights granted below.
By entering, each Applicant grants Sponsor a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to access, review, reproduce, repost, share, display, and otherwise use the Applicant’s Scholarship submission in connection with:

This license includes reasonable editing necessary for formatting, length, captions, accessibility, or platform requirements, provided Sponsor does not materially misrepresent the Applicant’s statements.
Sponsor will not obtain ownership of the Applicant’s underlying content solely by reason of the Applicant entering the Scholarship.
Applicants acknowledge that content containing third-party music, graphics, video, photographs, or other material may be subject to additional rights restrictions. Sponsor is not required to repost or otherwise use any Application content.
14. Name, Image, and Likeness
To the extent permitted by law, Applicants selected as finalists or as the Scholarship recipient may be asked to authorize Somatica Institute to use their name, image, likeness, biography, social media handle, Application statements, and Scholarship-related content in connection with administration, publicity, and announcement of the Scholarship.

Personal information will be handled in accordance with Somatica Institute’s Privacy Policy, available at: https://www.somaticainstitute.com/privacy-policy/
Applicants will not be required to consent to unrelated marketing communications as a condition of entering unless permitted by applicable law.
Applicants who separately choose to opt in to marketing communications may unsubscribe according to the instructions provided in those communications.
17. Taxes
The Scholarship recipient is solely responsible for any federal, state, local, international, or other taxes associated with receipt or use of the Scholarship, to the extent applicable.
Sponsor may require the recipient to provide tax documentation and may report the value of the Scholarship to taxing authorities where required by law.
Applicants should consult their own tax advisor regarding the tax consequences of receiving the Scholarship.
18. General Conditions
Sponsor reserves the right, subject to applicable law, to disqualify an Applicant who:
- Tampers with the application process;
- Attempts to manipulate the judging process;
- Submits fraudulent information;
- Uses automated, duplicate, or deceptive entry methods;

If the Scholarship is modified or terminated, Sponsor will determine an appropriate course of action consistent with applicable law and the integrity of the selection process.
Sponsor is not responsible for entries that are lost, late, incomplete, corrupted, inaccessible, incorrectly submitted, or unavailable because of technical or platform failures outside Sponsor’s reasonable control.
