American Association of Sexuality Educators, Counselors and Therapists (AASECT)
The Somatica Institute is an approved provider of CE credits for the American Association of Sexuality Educators, Counselors and Therapists (AASECT).
Students who attend any of the Somatica Sex & Relationship coaching trainings, including the Somatica Core Curriculum, Somatica Sex & Relationship Certification training, and Somatica Mastery Classes, and wish to pursue or renew an AASECT certification are now eligible for the number of CEs granted to each course.
World Association for Sexual Health (WAS)
Somatica Institute is proud to be a member of the World Association for Sexual Health (WAS), a prestigious international organization dedicated to promoting sexual health, rights, education, and research worldwide.

American Board of Sexology Accreditation (ABS)
The American Board of Sexology (ABS) has issued an acknowledgment that the Somatica Institute have met its criteria in training coaches that assist clients with issues around sexual health and well being.
Graduates of the Somatica Sex & Relationship Coach Certification program (Certified Somatica Coaches) who wish to pursue a professional career are now eligible to sign up for individual ABS membership to provide professional assurances to their clients. The Somatica Training and the Somatica Certification Program together fulfill the 300 hours required to become an ABS member.
The Somatica Certification Program is considered an in-depth study course of sex. As a graduate – in addition to being a certified sex and relationship coach – you are also a sexologist. Because our training is experiential and somatically-based, you may also identify yourself as a somatic sexologist.

California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists (CAMFT): Approval Towards Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS) CEs
As a CAMFT-approved Continuing Education (CE) provider, some of the Somatica Institute courses meet the qualifications for continuing education credit for LMFTs, LCSWs, LPCCs, and/or LEPs as required by the
California Board of Behavioral Sciences.
For mental health professionals, these CEs add sex and intimacy tools to your Marriage & Family therapy practice. For both couples work and individual work, having the skills to help people embrace their sexual desires can greatly enhance your ability to support your client’s life.
Somatica, LLC is approved by the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists (Provider #146640) to sponsor continuing education for Licensed Clinical Social Workers (LCSW) and Licensed Professional Clinical Counselors (LPCC). Somatica, LLC maintains responsibility for this program/course and its content.
To get your credits/hours for some of the courses, you need to make sure to let Somatica know in advance that you would like to receive CEs when applying for the Somatica Certification Program. Somatica will track the hours you attend the course and provide you with the appropriate credits for them. That’s all you need to do.

Association of Somatic and Integrative Sexologists (ASIS)
Graduates of the Somatica Sex & Relationship Coach Certification program meet the acceptance criteria of the Association of Somatic and Integrative Sexologists (ASIS). Somatica graduates, particularly those living in Europe, are welcome to join ASIS in order to provide professional assurances to their clients.
ASIS members who reside in the UK, Ireland, and most of Europe, can benefit from the professional insurance provided by the association, specifically designed for those engaged in somatic and integrative sexology.

United States Association for Body Psychotherapy (USABP)
