Enhancing Sexual Compatibility and Emotional Connection in Your Couples Coaching or Therapy Practice – Now Online!
Somatica’s Unique Approach
This training will provide you with the knowledge and the tools to support couples in having connected, hot, and passionate sex as well as close, loving relationships.
As sex coaches, people tell us things they don’t tell anyone else. One of the things they tell us is about how shamed they often feel in couples therapy. They feel shamed about sexual desires, affairs, differences around intimacy needs, and freedom. We believe that you cannot shame someone into having real intimacy. In fact, it is the allowance of each person’s real needs, feelings, and fears into the relationship that creates secure attachment, ongoing intimacy, and relationship satisfaction. The Somatica method is radically de-shamifying, which is hard to even imagine unless you’ve actually experienced it. When a person sees and accepts their partner for who they are, the relationship will either flourish or need to shift. That is what we help couples see and do.
Sex can be a big part of the glue that holds relationships together. Unfortunately, what makes sex hot is largely misunderstood. Helping clients have a good emotional connection and strong communication is often not enough to create a hot sexual connection. Sexual challenges appear in many relationships even when the couple reports that the rest of their relationship is going well. In this training, you will understand the dynamics between a couple’s sexual connection and their attachment and intimacy. You will also learn to explore and define an individual’s hottest sexual movie. This method help couples share their unique sexual psyches and teach them how to practice each other’s movies. By sharing their deepest and most vulnerable longings, couples can have a sex life that is truly arousing and fulfilling. We will also cover common sexual issues that couples face such as affairs, sexless marriages, low sexual desire, erectile dysfunction, and more.
Balancing Attachment and Individuation
In addition to working with presenting sexual issues, we will cover the delicate balance between attachment and individuation and teach practitioners how to support a couple in handling disappointment in their relationships. Find out more about our philosophy and theoretical background.
My husband and I had an amazing experience at the couples workshop – it way exceeded our expectations!
Who knew there was so much that one could learn – and enjoy learning – about how to relate and create intimacy with your partner. There seem to be so few places in life to ask questions about this topic – we don’t do that well in our society – to find out more information, to find out what other people have already learned. But the workshop was the perfect environment. The content was engaging and helpful, we practiced together and with the teachers and coaches, and we were able to bring home some great ways of relating that have opened up an already great relationship into something even better. Danielle and Celeste were masterful in how they taught and coached and in sharing the wisdom they’ve learned over their years of helping others. I couldn’t recommend the workshop any more heartily to others!
A special bonus of this training is that couples will be invited to take this training for personal growth which means, as someone taking the class for professional development, you may be given the opportunity to practice these techniques with attending couples. Additionally, we will be able to demonstrate Somatica couples work with real couples.
